My child is attending a competition

It is important that as parents and players, you are aware of the safeguarding information in relation to any competition or event you are attending. Please read our Safeguarding Information for Events document and share with your child ahead of the day:

On the day, you should be able to see information specifically for the event you are attending. Keep an eye out for the Safeguarding Information Display by Officials and make sure your child is aware of what to look out for. Events & competition good practice

The LTA Safeguarding Team are attending competitions throughout the year to support the implementation of safeguarding policies and processes and support those organising competitions to ensure they can provide a safe and inclusive environment. Details of what we will be looking for are available here:

Be a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behaviours and responses to events which can happen on, and off, court. The Safeguarding Team receive a number of complaints around parental behaviour each year which often result in referrals to social care and the police. Please help us to make tennis safe and enjoyable for all and remind yourself of the LTA Code of Conduct:
