Welsh National Tennis and Padel Championships: Day 4 Round-up

Day four of the Welsh National Tennis and Padel Championships saw winners crowned in the Under-9 girl’s and boy’s events, and the Visually Impaired competition.

Zara posing with her trophy infront of tennis wales backdropIn the girl’s Under-9 event Zara Hegarty of Bridgend Tennis Club lifted the silverware, while Zara Richmond of Wales RPDC/Swansea Academy was runner up.

In the boy’s competition Fletcher Davies of RPDC/Swansea Academy followed up his Under-8 title success by winning the Under-9s, beating Tomos O’Donnell, also of Swansea Academy in the final.

The Visually Impaired event took place at David Lloyd Swansea. The women’s event was won by Maggie Rees, and the men’s title went to Danny Eggar.
