Archie Gray enjoyed a strong fortnight, finishing runner-up in both boys’ singles finals, marking two of his best-ever results at J60 level and continuing his impressive run of form on the ITF Junior Circuit.

Meanwhile, Niall Pickerd-Barua claimed the boys’ doubles title during the first week alongside British partner Aran Selvaraasan, his first Junior ITF doubles title of the year.

Elsewhere, Oliver Page and Awen Gwilym-Davies both reached the singles quarter-finals, with Awen achieving this result at both tournaments, showing consistent progress on the international stage.

Callum Findlay, 14+ National Coach for Tennis Wales, said:
“It’s been a fantastic couple of weeks for our Welsh players. To see them competing deep into draws at international level shows the progress they’re making day to day. These results are a reflection of their commitment and the hard work they’re putting in both on and off the court.”

The back-to-back tournaments provided valuable match experience for the Welsh juniors as they continue to build confidence and rankings on the international stage.
