Tennis Wales welcomed the Rt Hon Simon Hart MP to see parks tennis in action.

The Secretary of State for Wales joined colleagues from Tennis Wales and the LTA, and volunteers and schoolchildren, to see how we’ve worked together to invest over £130,000 in court refurbishments and technology to welcome hundreds of new participants in Neath.

Parks tennis is a key element of our strategy of ‘opening up’ tennis in Wales.

There are over 100 public parks across Wales with over 300 tennis courts, and this summer Tennis Wales will be investing into more public park facilities right across the country. We can’t wait to see more public parks being transformed for Welsh people to enjoy playing tennis.
