• 4 minute read
The curtain falls on another thrilling season of domestic tennis at the Tennis Scotland Open Tour Finals - so here's everything you need to know.
The Finals features 16 men and 16 women who have competed in 19 Leaderboard events around the country since January. Gaining ranking points based on their performances, they will now compete for a £10,000 prize pot over two days.
The closing stages from Scotstoun were due to be shown live on Premier Sports 1 and the Premier Sports Player, however power failure meant that the event had to be delayed and then moved to David Lloyd West End.
Before the TS Open Tour Finals on 15-16 December, we have the first TS Junior Tour Finals, which takes place over the weekend of 13-14 December, also at Scotstoun.
Meanwhile, the inaugural TS Challenge Tour Finals will also take place on 15-16 December.
When & where is the TS Open Tour Finals 2025?
The two-day event gets under way at Scotstoun Community Indoor Tennis Centre in Glasgow on Monday 15 December with the first round from 9.30am, followed by the quarter-finals.
Tuesday 16 December opens with the semi-finals, followed by the women’s final and concluding with the men’s final. The second day was moved to David Lloyd West End following a power failure at Scotstoun.
What is the format?
Played as a straight knockout event, 16 men and 16 women will compete over four rounds to become champion.
The first three rounds are played over two sets with a match tie-break if required. The format for the finals is three full sets if needed.
