The newly built indoor tennis centre in Dumfries & Galloway is looking for an experienced Tennis Coach to join their team.
The opening of the new three-court indoor centre an presents an incredible opportunity for a passionate individual to lead on its success. The centre is the third facility opened as part of the Transforming Scottish Indoor Tennis (TSIT) partnership between Tennis Scotland, LTA, LTA Tennis Foundation, sportscotland.
Further funding for the project at the King George V sports complex in Dumfries came from Dumfries & Galloway Council and charity Holywood Trust. It will be operated by Queen of the South Football Community Trust.
The successful candidate will be part of the senior management team and have the opportunity to shape and develop the centre, aimed at attracting new players to the game and retaining existing players through a provision of junior & adult coaching, pay-to-play court access and competitions.
They will work closely with partners Dumfries and Galloway Council, sportscotland, the LTA and Tennis Scotland, along with clubs, and the Dumfries and Galloway district and South of Scotland county associations. Accountable to the CEO of Queen of the South Football Community Trust, they will have the opportunity to make a large impact regionally.
