Naomi Broady has been a mainstay on the ITF circuit since 2005, Broady has been a solid performer in both singles and doubles for many years and has reached both second and third rounds at Wimbledon and the US Open. A huge Manchester City fan, Broady started playing tennis at the age of seven.
Returned to training following an injury just before lockdown.
Reached the quarter finals of the ITF £25k in Karuizawa, Japan, losing out to Erina Hayashi in straight sets. Won the doubles tournament at Karuizawa alongside Japanese partner Ayaka Okuno, as well as the doubles title in the ITF £60k in Fukuoka alongside Heather Watson.
Won first WTA doubles title in April at Monterrey with partner Sara Sorribes. Followed this in May with win in $60,000 Fukuoka Doubles with partner Asia Muhammad.
