Tennis Coach
We are looking for a motivated and passionate coach to join our team in a part-time role, with clear potential to increase hours as demand continues to grow.
The position will initially offer around 16 hours per week across three days (Thursday to Saturday mornings), delivering sessions across our thriving adult and junior programmes, including performance coaching, as well as individual lessons.
As a club with a full membership and a waiting list of prospective players, there is a consistent demand for coaching and excellent opportunities to build your hours quickly.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a successful and ambitious coaching team, with genuine scope to expand the role and develop your career within the club.
The friendliest club in all of Middlesex? We certainly like to think so. Located in a residential area of Belsize Park, right next to Belsize Tube Station with five artificial clay courts and one hardcourt we cater for all ages and levels of play. Social tennis is the backbone of the club but we also treat competitive tennis very seriously and often our teams manage to perform above their fighting weight.
We also have an extensive junior programme which starts from 4 years of age up to adults, ranging across beginner up to performance standard.
Our attractive clubhouse offers modern facilities, with a lounge and bar, kitchen and changing rooms, an extraordinary view of all six courts and a superb venue for our members to enjoy.
We are looking for a coach who is motivated, hardworking, and passionate about creating a positive, engaging, and dynamic environment on court.
We understand that every coach has strengths and areas they may wish to develop. If there are aspects of coaching where you would like additional support, our Head Coach will provide mentoring and guidance to help you build confidence and feel comfortable in all coaching environments.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate professionalism both on and off the court, and act as a positive role model for players of all ages and abilities.
Above all, we are looking for someone who understands that coaching is about more than developing players. It is about developing people. We believe great coaches help individuals grow in confidence, character, and resilience, empowering them to become the best version of themselves both on and off the court.
