| We require a strong Level 2 or Level 3 tennis coach to lead sessions at our multiple park venues in North London including Islington and Haringey. Duties will include:- Leading and assisting the delivery of the coaching programme of all ages from mini tennis to adult coaching, including school holiday camps. Evening & weekend work essential. Opportunity to build 1:1 coaching hours. Immediate start available. |
| The Access to Sports project is a community led, creative & innovative sports development charity that works across the London boroughs of Islington, Haringey & Hackney. Tennis for All was set up by the Access to Sports Project to make the sport more inclusive. We want to target underrepresented segments of the local community including women, people from ethnic minority communities, people with special educational needs and those on low incomes. We run various school and community projects and an extensive programme using the courts at:- 8 courts (6 floodlit) at Finsbury Park 2 courts (2 floodlit) at Rosemary Gardens 2 courts at Stationers Park 2 courts at Downhills Park 3 courts (3 floodlit) at Down Lane Park 4 courts at Priory Park 2 courts at Chapmans Park 2 courts at Chestnuts Park |
| We require someone who:- - is reliable and has good timekeeping skills. - is organised, flexible and can be a good team player. - is prepared to run and lead sessions. - has a dynamic on court manner and a strong on court presence. - is a positive role model. - is prepared to travel between sites. |
