Join our dynamic team as a passionate and dedicated Coaching Specialist! In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver engaging group and individual coaching sessions to juniors and adults of varying abilities. The position also offers the potential to expand your hours through individual lessons and admin.

Our vibrant programs operate on both weekdays and weekends throughout the year, serving over 250 children in our school and club programs weekly. Working out of several clubs in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire allows plenty of scope for growth and flexibility coming into this role.

As a key player in our team, you will contribute significantly to the growth of these programs. Additional daytime opportunities are available for administrative tasks and school coaching.

We are looking for individuals who can thrive both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating reliability and a strong commitment to conducting regular coaching sessions. The ideal candidate will possess valid DBS, First Aid, and Safeguarding certificates.

This opportunity operates on a self-employed basis, governed by a Coaching Agreement. We seek coaches available for a minimum of two days a week, a Saturday is preferred. Additionally, having a full driving license and access to a vehicle for travel is essential. 

uPlay Tennis operates within the uPlay Sports Group, which also delivers sports coaching and Netball and Multi-sports experiences. uPlay Tennis has been operating for over 11 years and is a leading tennis coaching provider in Hitchin and surrounding areas.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for this role who holds a minimum qualification of LTA Level 2 (equivalent international qualifications will be considered). The ideal candidate is LTA Accredited, possesses a valid UK driving license, and has access to a car for transportation purposes. Strong Level 1 candidates aiming to achieve Level 2 in the near future will also be considered.

The successful candidate must embody passion and enthusiasm for tennis, demonstrating a genuine interest in fostering the growth of the sport. Essential qualifications and characteristics include:

Experience in delivering engaging sessions to both junior and adult groups.

Adaptability in implementing LTA products, including LTA Youth and cardio tennis.

Proficiency in catering to diverse age groups and playing standards.

Available for a minimum of two days a week; while weekend availability is not mandatory, it is preferred.
