Having played tennis for over 20 years, Grant has a wealth of tennis experience and recently won Surrey Tennis Coach of the Year and London and South East Coach of the Year in 2017. He represented his county as a junior and has 17 years of coaching experience working in various places in the UK and abroad. Grant is a Level 5 Master Club Coach which is the highest tennis coaching qualification in the UK and recently completed the Tennis Coaching Management Degree through Northumbria University.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
