Yasmin Clarke, Julie Wych and Malgorzata Grzyb appointed to LTA Board

The LTA has confirmed the board appointments of Yasmin Clarke and Julie Wych as Council-nominated Board members, and Malgorzata Grzyb as Chair of the Development Tennis Advisory Group.
Clarke, Wych, and Grzyb have all served on the LTA Council, the forum that brings together representatives from across Britain to work with the LTA in its goal of opening tennis up; Clarke as an independent councillor, Wych representing Cambridgeshire, and Grzyb representing the Association of British Tennis Officials (ABTO) of which she is Chair. They will now serve as part of the LTA Board, made up of 12 members, providing strategic leadership in support of the organisation’s mission to transform communities through tennis.
Yasmin Clarke
Yasmin Clarke has an extensive background in British tennis, having been a junior British girls’ No.1 before transitioning to the pro tour and reaching a career-high WTA singles ranking of 532. She has since gone on to achieve certification as an LTA Level 5 Master Performance Coach and has coached national champions, supporting players through domestic and international pathways, including her brother Jay Clarke, current British No.6.
She also has a part-time role with Women in Sport, where she helps promote research and develop toolkits and workshops that support organisations to take meaningful action, and she is a mentor for the Youth Sport Trust, using sport to build confidence, resilience, and key life skills in young people.
Julie Wych
Wych has served as an LTA councillor for Cambridgeshire since 2023, working as a member of the Development Tennis Advisory Group and the LTA Tennis Foundation working group, as well as serving as co-lead, along with LTA President Sandi Procter, on evolving regional volunteer forums.
Outside of her work on the LTA Council, Julie is a Research Associate in Statistics at Cardiff University’s Centre for Trials Research in the School of Medicine, and previously worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care at the University of Cambridge.
As council nominated board members, Clarke and Wych, who will initially serve two- and three-year terms respectively, will work with LTA Chair William Jackson, CEO Scott Lloyd, and other members of the Board to review and oversee the strategy, supporting initiatives and ways of working of the LTA, and consulting with the LTA Council as needed.
Malgorzata Grzyb
Malgorzata currently serves as Chair of the Association of British Tennis Officials (ABTO), where she works with officials, volunteers and LTA representatives to strengthen governance, strategy and engagement across officiating pathways. In her role she also represented ABTO as an LTA Councillor until December 2025, helping to connect the tennis and padel officiating community with the wider strategic priorities in the sport.
Alongside her tennis involvement, Malgorzata has professional experience across multiple sports, including in non-executive roles in judo, luge and cycling, and has contributed to the delivery of major international events such as the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Invictus Games.
The LTA Board will now comprise of six women and six men, as Clarke and Wych replace Bridie Amos, who has become Deputy President, and Richard Cutler, who is stepping down at the end of the year.
