Great Britain's Fed Cup team sealed an epic 3-0 victory over Greece on the second day of action at the University of Bath. Playing in front of a sell-out crowd, Johanna Konta and Katie Boulter brilliantly battled through three-set clashes, whilst Harriet Dart and Katie Swan clinched a second consecutive straight sets doubles win.

Hot on the heels of claiming her first Fed Cup singles victory yesterday against Slovenia's Kaja Juvan, British No.2 Boulter went on to defeat Valentini Grammatikopoulou. After taking the opening set 6-3, world No.171 Grammatikopoulou fought back to level the match and force a deciding tie-break. At 2-0 down in the decider, Boulter displayed plenty of grit to clinch a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 victory.

Following her result, Boulter said: "The crowd's been absolutely incredible so it's been an amazing atmosphere and I'm really lucky to be a part of it. Having everyone out there make so much noise helped me out when I really needed it."

World No.39 Konta followed and faced world Maria Sakkari, ranked just one spot higher at No.38. As the rankings would indicate, the match was an incredibly close encounter, but after losing the opening set Konta remained spirited and held her nerve to capture a 4-6 6-2 6-3 win.

The British No.1 said: "It really went down to that very last moment so I'm incredibly proud of my performance and the team effort today."

Last on court, Dart and Swan continued their fine doubles form to defeat Anna Arkadianou and Despina Papamichail 6-1, 6-4 in a match the finished just after midnight.

The team will play Hungary on Friday in their final round-robin tie of the Europe/Africa Group I competition. Victory would enable them to finish top of Group A and reach Saturday's play-off, for a chance to secure a spot in the World Group II Play-Offs in April.
