Main draw announced for Schroders Battle of the Brits

• 2 MINUTE READ

Today the draw has been announced for both the singles and doubles group-stages of the Schroders Battle of the Brits.

Making up the Tim Henman singles group are, James Ward, Liam Broady, Andy Murray and Kyle Edmund.

The stand out clash on the Henman group will be when two former British No.1s face off. Kyle Edmund will be hoping to improve on his record against Andy Murray, with Andy winning 3 of the 4 matches against his fellow Brit. Another interesting match-up in the Henman group is James Ward and Liam Broady. The pair will compete for the first time in four years, since James won a tight clash in the Granby Challenger quarter-finals.

Next up is the Greg Rusedski group that consists of Jack Draper, Jay Clarke, Cam Norrie and Dan Evans.

The two highest ranked singles players in the group – Dan Evans and Cam Norrie, have only faced off once before, in 2016 when the current British No.1 came out the victor. The Greg Rusedski group also has presented the chance to see Jay Clarke & Jack Draper match up for the first time. Giving British tennis fans a look at two rising stars in the men’s game.

Competing in the Paul Hutchins doubles group are, Liam Broady & Cam Norrie, Dan Evans & Lloyd Glasspool and Jamie Murray & Neal Skupski.

Finally, those playing in the Cathie Sabin doubles group consist of Kyle Edmund & Jack Draper, Dom Inglot & Jay Clarke, and Joe Salisbury & Jonny O’Mara.
