- Fun fact: Fearnley practised with Roger Federer at Wimbledon when he was a junior
- Tennis beginnings: Fearnley started playing tennis at the age of three
In 2018, Fearnley played in his first professional tennis tourmament at the Murray Trophy in Glasgow where he was offered a wild card Following that, he then went on to attend Texus Christian University in the United States where he studied kinesiology - the study of human movement.
There, Fearnley became fundamental to the university's dominance and accrued a series of accolades, including topping the doubles rankings, assisting the university to No.1 in the team rankings and winning back-to-back National Indoor Championships.
In 2024, Fearnley won his first ATP Challenger title as a qualifier at the Rothesay Open Nottingham, to crack into the top 500 for the first time. The event in Nottingham acted as a springboard for an incredible run which saw him win a further four titles and match Jack Draper's record of Challenger trophies won in a single year.
In October 2024, Fearnley broke into the world's top 100 for the first time in his career.

Highlights
- Reached the third round at Roland Garros having beat Stan Wawrinka and Ugo Humbert
- Came through qualifying to reach the third round at the ATP 1000 event in Madrid where he narrowly missed out to Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 7-6(3)
- Won on his Davis Cup debut during the Brits Qualifier first round tie against Kei Nishikori of Japan, becoming Colour Holder No.328
- Reached the third round of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time in his career at the Australian Open before being knocked out by second seed Alexander Zverev in straight sets

Highlights
- Broke into the world's top 100 for the first time in his career in October
