16U National Camps
National Camps are an opportunity for us to bring together the best boys and girls in the age group from across the country to spar together and learn from one another. We provide a unique experience for players to add value to their programmes and give them a snippet of a team environment within a heavily individual sport.
Our 16U National Camps are split by gender, as we tailor the training to their development stage.
The LTA National Coaches may run camps from time to time dependent on the development need of each cohort of players in the age group. We are pleased to share with you below footage from a boys 16U National Camp to bring to life this experience.
BOYS
We run two or three National Camps throughout the year for our 16U boys, all of which are domestic and based at the National Tennis Centre, Roehampton. Led by Martin Weston, these camps tend to be three to four days of on-court training with the opportunity for players’ individual coaches to attend and work with their player(s).
Find out more about what they’re like to attend below.
Hear from our Men’s National Coaches about our recommended programme levels of players who attend National Camps, the competition levels we would expect you to be competing at, and the characteristics of a National Camp player.
