2017 British Tennis Awards - nominate now!

The British Tennis Awards are back for a fourth year and nominations are now open!

This is your opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to Britain’s brilliant 25,000 volunteers, 22,000 schools, 9,276  tournaments, 2,768 clubs, 4,672 coaches and 975 officials that help keep tennis ticking.

Launched in 2015 with the help of former LTA president Cathie Sabin OBE and the Tennis Foundation, the British Tennis Awards are in place to celebrate the thousands of people who support the grassroots of the game.

Brighten someone's day by nominating them for a British Tennis Award!

Nominations can be submitted via an online nomination form which takes just 10 minutes to complete. There are 10 categories to choose from, so you can nominate any person or place who you think deserves to be recognised – and you can nominate more than once for any award.

Award categories

  • Club of the Year
  • Coach of the Year
  • Community Venue of the Year
  • Competition of the Year
  • Disability Award
  • Education Award
  • Official of the Year
  • Lifetime Achievement
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Young Person of the Year

Awards are whittled down to county, regional and national winners but for many, it's the nomination that means the most...

Last year’s Club of the Year Award went to Skipton Tennis Centre after an army of volunteers led by Head Coach Adam Cox rallied together to transform a derelict venue into a thriving club for the whole community to enjoy.

"Definitely get your nominations in because I can guarantee it will mean absolutely everything to that person; that individual, that club."

The national closing date for nominations is November 30, however dates vary per county so make sure you check yours when you nominate. Find out your county's deadline here
