Tennis Wales is the National Governing Body for tennis in Wales. Our vision is for tennis opened up across Wales and we have a clear strategy from 2020 – 2024.

We wish to partner with an agency or individuals who can support us to market, promote and communicate our work across Wales to a wide audience in an innovative way.

What do we require from a partner?

  • Work with the Tennis Wales team to create an annual marketing & communications plan in partnership with the LTA (Governing Body for British Tennis) that aligns all of our key marketing and communications for the year in a proactive and measurable way.
  • Develop the brand’s toolkit including tone of voice document, social media policy/strategy, audience analysis and tiered press/influencer lists.
  • Write high quality content (press releases, opinion pieces, blogs etc) that showcase our news, player successes and investments as we look to raise the profile of tennis in the mainstream media across Wales and GB.
  • Manage & coordinate our social media in an innovative way that grows awareness of the Tennis Wales brand and significantly increases our fan and follower numbers and engagement levels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn).
  • Deliver marketing campaigns for Tennis Wales, creating ideas and ways to introduce more people into tennis and promote our competitions, programmes, campaigns and training.
  • Provide media training to Tennis Wales colleagues, Board and committees to improve our ability to engage the media and talk positively about tennis, as well as potentially provide training to the wider tennis community of volunteers and tennis coaches working in the sport.
  • Create innovative digital content that we can use online to promote our work and showcase our sport to people in Wales.
  • Experience working with the Welsh Language Act, ensuring as a publicly funded body that we make our marketing and communications available in both English and Welsh.
  • Creative ability to take our brand guidelines to develop high quality artwork and designs for any campaigns, helping showcase Tennis Wales as a modern organisation with a relevant tone of voice.
  • Knowledge of the political landscape in Wales, helping to organise stakeholder events and engage directly with Members of The Senedd, Members of Parliament and other key elected officials to deliver our strategy.

Tennis Wales is looking to hear from interested agencies or individuals with a view to developing a partnership that can start immediately and initially run through to 31st December 2021. We’d love to hear how you, or your agency could support our vision for tennis opened up, along with what you have to offer our sport, and what type of investment you’d seek from us to bring our partnership to fruition.

Please email a credentials document in the first instance to Maria Rees (Maria.Rees@tenniswales.org.uk) by 31st August.

Please include the following information:

  • Bios of team members who will directly work on the account
