To mark the return of professional women’s tennis at the prestigious HSBC Championships, Keith Prowse - the LTA’s Official Hospitality Provider, proudly introduced 'HerStory at Tennis'; a groundbreaking, female-led premium experience held at the Queen's Club.
More than just a hospitality offering, HerStory at Tennis was a celebration of empowerment, education, and community.
Designed by women, for women, the event took place on 12 and 13 June, with profits donated to LTA Tennis Foundation, the official charity of the LTA, whose mission is to improve lives through tennis.
Inspiring Conversations, Meaningful Impact
Hosted by broadcaster Kirsty Gallacher, the event featured thought-provoking discussions with leading voices in sport and media. Guests gained insights into the evolution of women’s sport, the challenges still faced, and the transformative power of sport in society.
The speaker lineup included:
- Annie Vernon, Olympic silver medallist rower
- Natalie Pinkham, Sky Sports F1 broadcaster
- Tammy Parlour MBE, CEO and Co-Founder of the Women’s Sport Trust
- Sarah Mayall, HSBC Global Head of Marketing
- Chemmy Alcott, four-time Winter Olympian
- Emma Ross, Co-Founder and CSO at The Well
- Amy Williams MBE, Team GB’s first solo Winter Olympic gold medallist for 30 years
These sessions sparked powerful conversations around visibility, opportunity, and the future of women in sport.
Guests also heard firsthand from two LTA Tennis Foundation charity partners, who shared how funding has directly impacted their communities.
Kate Maurici, Head of The Queen’s Club Foundation, spoke passionately about the three key ingredients needed to inspire girls to take up, and stick with tennis, which included culture, inspiration and cultivation.
Navjeet Sira, CEO of The Change Foundation, spoke passionately about Tennis Talk, a programme funded by LTA Tennis Foundation that uses tennis as a tool to support young people’s mental health and wellbeing.
The HerStory experience at Queen's was a warm, welcoming and fun opportunity for guests to celebrate women in tennis. It was a great privilege to be invited by the LTA Tennis Foundation to share my passion for the women and girls projects delivered by The Queen's Club Foundation this year. Kirsty was a brilliant host, and the event included insightful panel discussions, cocktail mixing classes and even a makeover studio provided by Trinny London
Keith Prowse’s commitment to 'HerStory at Tennis' not only elevated the guest experience at The Queen’s Club but also created a lasting legacy by supporting initiatives that make tennis more inclusive and accessible. The funds raised will help LTA Tennis Foundation continue its commitment to open up the sport to more people and communities across Great Britain.
Samantha Coates, Marketing Director at Keith Prowse said: “HerStory at Tennis was an incredible success, truly embodying our commitment to innovation and supporting the growth of women's sport. Seeing the concept, born from direct customer feedback, come to life and resonate so powerfully with our guests was immensely rewarding.
"The insightful discussions and the funds raised for the LTA Tennis Foundation underscore the tangible impact of creating experiences that go beyond hospitality and genuinely contribute to a more inclusive future for tennis.”
