To meet the LTA Venue Safeguarding Standards, Welfare Officers need the following pre-requisities:
- Valid DBS
- Completed Safeguarding Training in the last 3 years

To check your venue's Welfare Officer pre-requisites on the Venue Portal, go to the TEAM section and select the Welfare Team sub section. Click 'edit' on an individual welfare officer and scrolling down to see the status on their pre-requisites. The registration system will flag (in red) sections that are out of date.
