To meet the LTA Venue Safeguarding Standards, Welfare Officers need the following pre-requisites:

• Valid DBS
• Completed Safeguarding Training in the last 3 years

To check if your Welfare Officers pre-requisites are up to date select the ‘Team information’ section from within the venue registration platform. In here you will find your Welfare team. The status of your Welfare Officers will be flagged as either ‘compliant’ or ‘Non-compliant’. If any of your Welfare Officers pre-requisites are non-compliant you will be able to see which aspect they are non-compliant on and need to take action in order to become compliant.
