Venue Host
This is a full-time or casual, hands-on role combining customer service, venue standards, café/bar service, beginner padel delivery and local marketing support.
You will welcome players, support bookings, serve drinks and basic food items, help keep the venue clean and organised, support events and socials, and help deliver simple Intro to Padel and taster sessions after training.
This is a great role for someone friendly, reliable and proactive who wants to be part of a new padel venue from day one.
Full time and part time work available.
Neighbourhood Padel is a padel venue operator developing high-quality, professionally managed padel clubs in urban neighbourhood locations. Our first venue is based in Digbeth, Birmingham, and will provide padel courts, coaching, introductory sessions, leagues, tournaments, social play, corporate events and organised playing opportunities for a wide range of players.
The organisation is built around creating strong playing environments: well-run venues, good coaching, clear player pathways, welcoming staff, and a high-quality customer experience. We want people to be able to start, improve, compete and socialise through padel, whether they are new to the sport or already playing regularly.
A key part of the model is making padel easier to access through introductory sessions, structured coaching, social formats and partnerships with local groups, businesses and organisations. Neighbourhood Padel’s wider aim is to make padel the heartbeat of the neighbourhood by combining sport, coaching, social connection and well-managed venue operations.
We are looking for people who are reliable, practical and good with customers. You should be calm under pressure, comfortable working evenings and weekends, and willing to help with all areas of the venue. This includes customer service, café/bar service, alcohol service, basic food service, cleaning, tidying, court checks, intro sessions and event support. Experience in hospitality, sport, leisure, retail, events, café/bar work, licensed premises or customer service would be useful. Experience leading groups, coaching, teaching or delivering activities would also be helpful. Padel knowledge is useful, but not essential. Reliability, customer care, confidence with people and high venue standards matter more.
