Tennis Coach
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Tennis Coach to deliver high-quality coaching sessions for both adult and junior players across a range of abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, structured tennis coaching sessions for adults and juniors in line with programme objectives
Adapt coaching methods to suit different ages, abilities, and learning styles
Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Support player development by improving technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills
Encourage participation, enjoyment, and long-term involvement in tennis
Set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions
Communicate effectively with players, parents, and programme organisers
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and club/LTA policies at all times
Skills & Experience:
Experience coaching both junior and adult players
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate, inspire, and manage groups
Organised, reliable, and professional approach
Qualifications (Desirable/Required depending on role):
Relevant coaching qualification (e.g. LTA Instructor or above)
Valid safeguarding and first aid certification

Passion for coaching tennis and developing players of all ages
Experience delivering tennis coaching sessions to both juniors and adults
Ability to plan and deliver safe, engaging, and inclusive sessions
Strong communication skills with players, parents, and colleagues
Positive, professional, and reliable attitude
Ability to manage groups and maintain a safe learning environment
Willingness to follow safeguarding, health & safety, and club/LTA policies
Desirable:
LTA coaching qualification (Instructor Level 2 or above)
Experience working in a community club environment
Experience delivering school or holiday camp sessions
Valid DBS check
First Aid and Safeguarding & Protection training
