Tennis Coach Opportunity
This role offers significant scope to develop a thriving coaching programme, working with both adults and juniors through:
•Individual private coaching
•Group coaching sessions
•Structured junior and adult programmes
The club is keen to work with a coach who sees this as a long-term opportunity to grow participation, improve playing standards, and help shape the future of the club.
A successful coach will:
•Deliver varied and engaging coaching programmes
•Encourage membership growth through quality coaching
•Promote the club positively within the local community
•Help raise playing standards, supporting the club’s ambition to enter more local leagues and attract stronger players
As coaching participation and membership increase, this will strengthen club finances and enable continued investment in facilities.
Coaching Structure & Earnings
The position is freelance, with the coach responsible for generating their own earnings through private and group coaching.
To support the successful candidate in establishing and growing their coaching business, the club is willing to offer initial assistance, which may include:
•Promotion through the club’s social media and communication channels
•Practical support and collaboration from the committee to help develop programmes and grow participation
This support is intended to help the coach build a sustainable, long-term coaching operation at the club.

St Columba’s Tennis Club is set in an attractive, secluded location within an affluent residential area of Acton. The club offers 4 good facilities and a friendly, forward-thinking atmosphere.
Facilities include:
•4 well-maintained, floodlit all-weather hard courts
•Clubhouse with toilets, changing rooms, and kitchen facilities
•Supportive and proactive committee keen to grow the club
About You
•LTA Level 3 Coach or higher
•LTA Accredited (or willing to become accredited)
•Passionate about developing players of all ages and abilities
•Organised, reliable, and proactive
•Entrepreneurial mindset and keen to grow a coaching business within a club environment
