Purpose of the Role:
The primary purpose of the Tennis Coach is to develop the skills, techniques, and performance of tennis players of all ages ranging from beginner to intermediate level.

Key Responsibilities:
Group coaching sessions tailored to various skill levels, ensuring each player receives personalised attention and guidance
Building and expanding children's tennis program, following principles of LTA Youth
Opportunity to deliver 1-2-1 coaching sessions: leads will be provided by the venue but the candidate will also be encouraged to self generate work

Self employed on a part time basis: weekends, after school and evenings (when daylight hours allow)

Rudolph School of Tennis provides tennis coaching for all ages and abilities at Parliament Hill Fields, Hampstead Heath.
We run very busy school holiday camps, a wide range of adult and children's groups as well as private coaching.
Most players are typically beginner to intermediate level.

The tennis courts are near a busy entrance to the park so benefit from good footfall from walkers, dog owners, families and all other visitors to the Heath.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a passionate and enthusiastic tennis coach with at least two years of coaching experience.

Key competencies and attributes include:
Experience: Minimum two years of coaching experience, with a Level 2 or 3 certification. Must have coached children and adults and have experience with absolute beginers
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of tennis techniques and training methods
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication for effective interaction with players, parents, and colleagues
Creativity and Initiative: Proactive in bringing new ideas and approaches to the coaching program
Team Player: Works well within a team, supporting colleagues and contributing positively
Punctuality and Reliability: Consistently on time and dependable
Passionate and Fun: Creates an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere for players
Supportive and Inclusive: Ensures all players feel included and supported
