Tennis Coach (L3, or above)- Hadley Wood Tennis Club
Hadley Wood Tennis Club (EN4) is seeking an experienced, people-first LTA Accredited+ Coach (Level 3 or above) to deliver junior and adult group sessions and one-to-one lessons across our seven courts (two hard, five artificial grass). This part-time role (10–15 hours per week) includes after-school/evenings, Saturday mornings and Sundays, with clear scope to increase hours through private lessons, school links and camps. You will plan and deliver engaging sessions aligned to LTA pathways, support holiday camps and club events, maintain accurate registers, communicate clearly with players and parents, and uphold safeguarding at all times.
Hadley Wood Tennis Club (EN4) is a welcoming, community-focused club in North London with seven courts (two hard, five artificial grass). We took over the club two years ago and are actively building a vibrant junior and adult coaching programme, strengthening pathways from beginners to team players. Our priority is to instil a strong sense of community while expanding the offer for both children and adults, introducing more social tennis nights, adult clinics, and family-friendly activities alongside holiday camps and one-to-one lessons. We are committed to high standards of safeguarding and player welfare, and we support coaches with a collaborative environment and opportunities for professional development.
Essential:
- Enthusiastic, friendly, people-centred and professional manner.
- Well organised, reliable, punctual and proactive.
- Strong communicator with players, parents and colleagues; positive role model.
- Team player who collaborates, shares ideas and supports others.
- Willingness to learn and grow (CPD), open to feedback and new initiatives.
- Proven experience coaching juniors and adults (groups and 1:1); solid hitting standard.
- Available for after-school/evenings, Saturday mornings and Sundays.
- LTA Level 3 or avobe with Accreditation+ .
- Current DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding (or willingness to obtain promptly).
- Clean UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Schools delivery experience; Cardio Tennis; familiarity with LTA competition formats.
- Comfortable promoting sessions/events (basic social media or comms).
- Experience contributing to programme planning and player pathways.v
