Senior Tennis Coach - Wimbledon Park


With our recent expansion in partnership with the Borough of Merton, we are seeking career-driven coaches to join an exciting new chapter in parks tennis. https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/TennisInMerton
The role will be based at Wimbledon Park and 1 or 2 other venues in Tennis in Merton. The role will be hybrid of group and private lessons. The role is for a July 2025 start (Flexible on notice periods)
Overview of company
As the new tennis operator for Merton, we have coaching vacancies across the brand new resurfaced 12 Merton sites, including the growth of our home base at Wimbledon Park — with 20 courts, including 10 floodlit courts artificial grass courts and brand new 10 macadam courts , just a 20-minute walk from the AELTC.

We’ve won Surrey Tennis LTA Awards three years running, including LTA Park of the Year. We work with excellent partners like The Wimbledon Guild and Rally4Ever, the latter in partnership with the WTA, to deliver outreach programmes in local parks including Wimbledon Park.
Professional Development Opportunities
We offer ongoing professional development through PTR Coach Education, with Emma as Head of PTR UK, www.ptruk.org. This provides LTA independent learning points, access to additional coaching qualifications, and racket sponsorships through our partner Wilson for full-time coaches.
Requirements:
5+ years coaching experience
LTA Accredited+ or equivalent (PTR, USTA, RPT)
Valid DBS, First Aid, and Safeguarding certificates
Experience in community, junior, adult & performance coaching
Ideally experienced with E.D.I. groups and in parks tennis
High playing standard preferred
