Senior Lead Tennis Coach
We are looking for an experienced Senior Lead Coach to be a key, welcoming face for members and to develop and oversee the coaching programme. A main focus will be on the delivery of a programme which has the wellbeing and enjoyment by the Club members at its heart.
The Senior Lead Coach will be responsible for developing the programme, recruiting and managing the coaching team, and delivering the Club’s vision, embracing tennis players of all ages and abilities.
Effective communication and excellent organisational skills are essential. In addition to running holiday camps and school sessions, it’s key that the programme also offers adult coaching sessions and social mixed group sessions to meet different needs, increasing internal adult competition and social integration within the Club.

The Lansdown Tennis, Squash and Croquet Club offers some of the best facilities and playing opportunities in the Southwest – within a friendly and welcoming Club environment. We have 11 tennis courts (4 artificial clay, 3 astroturf and 4 hard courts), 4 squash courts and a Croquet lawn. Membership is thriving (over 1,000 members in total, of which around 800 are predominantly tennis members, including 300+child and junior playing members). We also have strong links with schools in the local community.
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Level 4 coach to drive and deliver a high-quality programme, accessible to all members. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, organised, self-motivated and flexible to the needs of the Club. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
