Self Employed Tennis Coach – The Edgbaston Priory Club


The Edgbaston Priory Club are seeking an enthusiastic, tennis loving, team player to join our large club coaching programme & team. Our coaching programme at Edgbaston Priory is extensive and covers a wide range of age & abilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across our wide range of programmes and will have the opportunity to focus on an area of that fits their skill set.
Due to a current coach leaving the club we have a full diary of hours ready to pass on to the successful candidate meaning that you will start on 40 hours a week immediately.
All coaches at Edgbaston Priory receive the following benefits:

The position is a self employed position and they will work alongside our large team of experienced coaches and will share a passion of player development.
The Edgbaston Priory Club is one of the Premier clubs in the Country. Boasting extensive facilities including 8 indoor tennis courts, 3 padel courts, 15 all weather courts & 7 Championship grass courts.
We are proud hosts of the Lexus Birmingham Open which sees some of the World’s best players grace the courts at the club in our prestigious pre-Wimbledon tournament.
Part of the LTA RPDC network we pride ourselves on offering tennis across the whole spectrum of ages & abilities.
Our clubhouse is state of the art with indoor & outdoor swimming pools, a comprehensive gym and numerous fitness & conference spaces. The club is a large member's club, with tennis at the heart of everything it does. With 3000+ members there is a large market of members looking for lessons, and a real tennis loving culture.
Alongside our fantastic club, we have the opportunity to grow tennis in the surrounding area at our satellite venue; Lordswood Tennis Club.
We are looking to recruit a team player who is passionate about tennis & player development. The ideal candidate would be a level 4 coach, although we will conider applications from level 3 coaches with an aspiration to develop themselves and a commitment to the level 4 course in the near future.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator, work well within our team and have the ability to create a positive atmosphere on court with a passion for player development.
