Part time Head Coach (Self-Employed)
Self employed Head Coach of Collingham Tennis Club to continue and develop the existing coaching programme for 50+ junior players on monthly direct debit coaching packages, currently on Mondays and Tuesday evenings supported by our level 2 Coach.
Opportunities to expand coaching including private sessions and Saturday mornings.
CTC is a friendly village club aiming to bring the enjoyment of tennis to all ages and abilities. Our players range in age from 4 to 80. We pride ourselves on being welcoming, inclusive and closely connected to our local community. The Club runs a full junior coaching programme and has 14 adult teams in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire leagues.
164 members, including 56 juniors and under 18s (31 boys & 25 girls).
Currently there are 2 evening social sessions (Tuesday & Thursday) and 3 morning sessions (Sunday, Tuesday, Friday). Tuesday morning session is pay as you go and open to non-members.
Facilities include 4 full sized courts, 2 mini courts with a training wall. Accessible clubhouse. LED floodlighting. Ample car parking.
All facilities owned by the Club and managed by members of a dedicated committee to which the coaching team are encouraged to be part of.
We host open days, fundraising events and sessions with local groups such as Scouts, Young Farmers and local businesses.
We offer a strong progression group, helping young players move smoothly into adult social and competitive tennis with several now playing in our adult teams.
Collingham Tennis Club is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and LTA-qualified Head Coach to take over our established and thriving coaching programme from Summer 2026.
Our new coach will need excellent communication skills, LTA Level 3 or above,
LTA Accreditation, enhanced DBS, First Aid. Our new coach will be inclusive and welcoming and able to coach players at all levels of ability, passing on their enjoyment of tennis.
