RPDC Head Coach, Delgado & Lee Pro Tennis Academy, Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre


Role Overview:
As the RPDC Head Coach, your primary responsibility is to lead and develop our full-time players within our LTA Regional Player Development Centre (RPDC) programme, ensuring alignment with our team’s shared coaching philosophy and high-performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Coaching Delivery:
Oversee and deliver excellent on-court training for U11, U12, and U14 full-time RPDC players through a mix of squad sessions and individualised coaching.
* Collaborative Coaching:
Work closely with the RPDC Assistant Coach to maintain a consistent and aligned approach to player development and session delivery.
* Player Development Accountability:
Take ownership of individual player development, ensuring clear progress pathways are in place and monitored effectively.
* Off-Court Planning & Management:
Plan and manage off-court development, including goal setting, periodised training programmes, tournament schedules, player selection and reselection, and formal player development meetings.
* Tournament Support:
Provide coach support to our full time players at key competitive events including Grade 1, Grade 2, and UK Tennis Europe (TE) tournaments.
* High-Performance Culture:
Foster a professional, values-driven high-performance environment that supports long-term athlete development and team collaboration.
* U10 Transition Support:
Work closely with the Head of the U10 Performance Programme to support the smooth progression of players from U10 into our RPDC.
Delgado & Lee Pro Tennis Academy is based at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, offers a world-class training environment in one of the UK’s premier sporting facilities. With access to 4 indoor and 8 outdoor courts, a fully equipped high performance gym, on-site hotel, café, and restaurant—as well as shared facilities with other elite International sports—our players train in an inspiring, high-performance setting every day.
We are proud to be both an LTA U10 Performance Centre and an LTA Regional Player Development Centre (RPDC), providing a complete performance pathway from red ball through to professional tennis. Our coaching team works across all ages and stages of development, supporting players with the ambition and mindset to reach their full potential.

What We’re Looking For:
* A highly motivated, organised, and professional performance coach
* Strong experience working with junior performance players (preferably U10–U14)
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* A team-first mindset and a commitment to ongoing personal and player development
* LTA Level 4 (or international equivalent) minimum – Level 5 desirable
* Ability to travel and provide tournament support as required
