Regional Coach Manager


This is a full-time hybrid role combining 20 hours per week of on-court coaching delivery with 15 hours per week of off-court responsibilities to lead workforce development, programme growth, and key strategic projects across the region.
The role is perfect for an experienced coach ready to step into a leadership role — contributing to NTA’s mission of growing tennis participation and developing a high-performing regional coaching workforce.

Onboarding and development of coaches
Coach training and mentoring
Free Parks Tennis management and activation
Building school links and delivering schools programmes
High-quality on-court coaching delivery (Youth and Adult)
Key Responsibilities
On-Court Delivery (20 hours per week)
Deliver high-quality tennis coaching sessions, including LTA Youth Start, Adult sessions, Tennis Xpress, and Cardio Tennis in Hampshire.
Lead delivery at flagship venues and Free Parks Tennis sessions.
Develop school links and deliver school outreach programmes.
Maintain excellent session planning and quality assurance.
Off-Court Responsibilities (15 hours per week)
Lead on the onboarding and induction of new coaches across the region.
Develop and implement coach development plans, CPD, and mentoring.
Manage and activate Free Parks Tennis delivery and reporting.
Build partnerships with local schools and oversee school tennis delivery.
Act as a key regional contact for the NTA management team, supporting growth and operational excellence.
Hours & Compensation
Full-time Salaried role: 35 hours per week (20 delivery / 15 admin & staff development).
Base salary: £32,500 per annum.
Additional earning opportunity: up to £15,000 per year through self-employed individual coaching.
Overall earning potential: £40,000-£50,000 per annum.

On-Court
LTA Accredited Level 3 (minimum) with strong coaching track record. Ideally we are looking for a level 4 or 5 coach but exceptional Level 3 coaches will be considered.
Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering a wide range of coaching sessions.
Skilled in delivering fun, engaging coaching to players of all ages and abilities.
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive coaching practice.
Off-Court
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop other coaches.
Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to build relationships with schools, local authorities, and community partners.
Experience managing programme growth and workforce development desirable.
Comfortable using systems such as ClubSpark and digital planning tools.
