Rackets Programme Manager
The Programme Manager is responsible for the planning, delivery, and development of the club’s racket programmes, with a focus on junior development, family, community & social activities, and elite/advanced performance pathways.
The role ensures all programmes meet National Governing Sporting Bodies (NGB), deliver a high-quality experience, and support the club’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver structured programmes for all racket sports to include junior, adult social, and performance players.
Develop clear player pathways from beginner to elite/advanced level
Manage, support, and develop a team of LTA accredited and other Club coaches
Ensure compliance with NGB safeguarding, DBS, First Aid, and accreditation
requirements
Act as a key contact for players and parents
Oversee performance training, competition planning, and matchplay
opportunities
Organise holiday camps, social events, and internal competitions
Manage programme budgets, schedules, and participation data
Support marketing, recruitment, and community outreach initiatives
Contribute to governing bodies accreditation and club reporting requirements

Chichester Racquets and Fitness Club is an established rackets club in the heart of Chichester. With 1800 members we're looking to expand our programme offering across all our racket sports to include Tennis, Padel and Squash.
With 4 brand new covered Padel courts and an additional 4 tennis courts being added to our existing court provision we will soon offer 6 Padel, 14 Tennis and 5 Squash courts along side a gym, sauna and steam room, bar and café and an extensive social event calendar.
Experience managing rackets or sports development programmes
Strong understanding of appropriate governing body frameworks and safeguarding standards
Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
Experience working with juniors, adults, and parents and the community
