Padel Coach
This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious padel coach to join Neighbourhood Padel at the very start of our journey.
You will be part of a brand-new padel venue, helping build the coaching programme, player experience and community from day one. This is not just a casual coaching role. It is a chance to get close to a growing padel business, gain real mentoring, and develop your coaching in a high-quality environment.
You will be supported and mentored by Nick Williams, one of the leading coach educators in padel, with opportunities to learn how to deliver better sessions, engage players, build programmes and understand what strong padel coaching looks like in a modern venue.
The role will include delivering coaching sessions, Intro to Padel sessions, taster sessions, socials, group coaching and individual lessons. There may also be opportunities to support events, community activity and wider venue delivery as the programme grows.
For the right person, this could develop into a more regular coaching role and potentially a full-time position as Neighbourhood Padel expands.
Neighbourhood Padel is a padel venue operator developing high-quality, professionally managed padel clubs in urban neighbourhood locations. Our first venue is based in Digbeth, Birmingham, and will provide padel courts, coaching, introductory sessions, leagues, tournaments, social play, corporate events and organised playing opportunities for a wide range of players.
The organisation is built around creating strong playing environments: well-run venues, good coaching, clear player pathways, welcoming staff, and a high-quality customer experience. We want people to be able to start, improve, compete and socialise through padel, whether they are new to the sport or already playing regularly.
A key part of the model is making padel easier to access through introductory sessions, structured coaching, social formats and partnerships with local groups, businesses and organisations. Neighbourhood Padel’s wider aim is to make padel the heartbeat of the neighbourhood by combining sport, coaching, social connection and well-managed venue operations.
What we are looking for • A qualified padel coach, with strong padel experience and a clear willingness to work within our padel coaching approach. • A coach who wants to develop, not just deliver sessions. • A clear, confident communicator who connects well with beginners and social players. • Someone who can deliver structured, engaging and professional sessions. • A reliable, organised person who is comfortable being part of a wider venue team. • Someone who understands that the player experience matters as much as the technical content. • Availability for weekdays, evenings and weekends, although hours will depend on demand.
