Job Summary:
Padel Social Club is seeking an experienced, commercially driven and inspiring Head Coach to lead the coaching programme and oversee the performance, culture and growth of the on-court operation.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for player development, coach management, programme structure, event delivery, commercial performance and facility standards. The Head Coach will combine high-level coaching expertise with strong operational, administrative and revenue accountability.
The successful candidate will set the professional standards for the coaching team while ensuring members receive a premium, high-energy club experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor and manage the coaching team, including freelance coaches.
Set performance expectations, conduct reviews and drive accountability.
Oversee coach scheduling in line with operational demand.
Ensure all coaches comply with qualification, insurance and safeguarding requirements.
Foster a positive, high-performance, commercially aware coaching culture.
Act as the primary escalation point for coaching-related issues.
Coaching & Programme Development
Deliver high-quality one-to-one and group coaching sessions.
Design and implement structured coaching programmes and development pathways.
Develop beginner-to-advanced progression frameworks.
Oversee junior, adult and performance programme structures.
Monitor coaching standards and ensure session quality consistency.
Drive participation growth across all coaching products.
Tournaments, Leagues & Club Programming
Own the planning and execution of:
Club tournaments
Leagues
Social play formats
Competitive events
Ensure events are professionally delivered and commercially viable.
Create engaging formats that increase member retention and participation.
Work with the General Manager on annual programming calendars.
Corporate & Private Events
Lead the coaching delivery for corporate and private events.
Ensure premium guest experience and professional execution.
Support revenue growth through corporate padel offerings.
Assist in packaging and pricing corporate coaching products.
Commercial Performance & Revenue Accountability
Drive coaching revenue performance and utilisation rates.
Monitor and report on:
Lesson income
Programme participation
Event revenue
Retail conversion linked to coaching
Support membership growth through structured onboarding and programming.
Lead the implementation of the Coach Referral & Incentive Programme.
Actively promote equipment, apparel and membership benefits.
Retail & Equipment Oversight
Oversee coaching team engagement in retail sales.
Support inventory coordination with management.
Ensure coaches provide informed, professional product recommendations.
Monitor referral logging and compliance.
Facility & Standards Management
Ensure courts and coaching areas are maintained to immaculate standards.
Report and escalate maintenance issues.
Maintain a premium visual and operational presentation across all coaching activities.
Administration & Reporting
Manage the coaching schedule and programme calendar.
Produce regular performance reports for the General Manager.
Track KPIs including:
Coach utilisation
Revenue per court hour
Event participation
Manage coaching-related budgets where applicable.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety and club policies.

Experience & Qualities
Proven experience as a Head Coach or Senior Coach in padel (or equivalent racket sport with strong padel experience).
Recognised coaching qualifications.
Demonstrable experience managing coaching teams.
Strong commercial awareness and revenue management capability.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Confident communicator with strong member engagement skills.
Professional, proactive and standards-driven.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented club environment.
