Head Coach at Heswall Tennis Club - Minimum LTA Level 4
The Head Coach will have full responsibility for the design, delivery and development of the Club’s junior and adult coaching programme. The role includes leading and managing the coaching team, acting as the Club’s LTA Youth Co ordinator, organising junior programmes, camps, teams and competitions, and working closely with the Committee to support membership growth and community engagement.
The success of the Head Coach will be measured primarily by growth in junior and adult membership and by member satisfaction, as evidenced through participation levels and regular member satisfaction surveys.
Heswall Lawn Tennis Club is a well established, community focused members’ club on the Wirral with over 400 members, split approximately 70% adult and 30% junior. The Club has 8 superb astroturf courts, 4 of which are lit with modern LED floodlighting, providing excellent year round playing and coaching conditions.
The Club places coaching at the centre of its strategy for growing participation, developing players and retaining both junior and adult members. Heswall LTC is supportive, forward looking and committed to high quality coaching provision and long term development.

What we are looking for:
•Minimum of LTA Level 4 Accreditation (essential)
•Proven experience in leading and developing a comprehensive club coaching programme
•Strong leadership and people management skills
•Passion for junior development and adult participation
•Ability to grow membership and deliver a high quality, inclusive coaching experience
•Confidence in using marketing and digital channels to support programme growth
•Professional, positive approach and willingness to work collaboratively with the Club
Qualities we are looking for:
•Strong leadership with a clear commitment to player development and participation growth
•Ability to design and deliver structured development pathways for juniors and adults
•Commercial awareness and an understanding that coaching success is directly linked to club growth and member experience
•Proactive, organised and outcomes focused, with the ability to manage programmes, people and schedules effectively
•Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and the Club Committee
•A clear understanding of the importance of marketing and social media in promoting coaching programmes, engaging members, attracting new players and supporting the success of both the coaching business and the Club
