Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Front of House Manager to lead daily operations at Padel Social Club, a premium destination for sport, social connection and wellness. This is a leadership role that blends team management, guest experience and operational oversight. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the front-of-house team, ensuring smooth booking and check-in processes, maintaining immaculate facilities, and delivering an exceptional experience to every member and guest.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Team Leadership & Scheduling:
Lead, support and supervise the front desk team to deliver outstanding service across all touchpoints.
Create and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage for court bookings, events and peak hours.
Train new team members and conduct regular performance check-ins.
Foster a positive, collaborative club culture with high morale and clear communication.
Member & Guest Experience:
Ensure guests and members receive a warm, professional welcome upon arrival.
Oversee all front-of-house interactions, including check-ins, court bookings and responses to member enquiries.
Proactively engage with members to gather feedback and improve overall satisfaction.
Uphold and coach staff on high hospitality standards, including checking in with players on court and event hosting.
Operational Oversight:
Maintain day-to-day operational flow across all areas: courts, recovery room and front desk.
Monitor and manage the club’s booking platform, ensuring accuracy, court readiness and smooth turnover.
Respond to or delegate email correspondence promptly and effectively.
Ensure courts and common areas are spotless and ready before every booking or event.
Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of the recovery room, restocking supplies as needed.
Events & Retail Management:
Coordinate club events from planning to execution, including tournaments and promotions.
Work closely with team members to handle setup, guest registration and post-event operations.
Manage merchandise displays, sales tracking and stock levels of retail products.
Stock & Inventory Control:
Monitor retail and wellness inventory; place orders and liaise with suppliers when needed.
Track and control usage and wastage, aiming for cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
