Community Tennis Coach (LTA Level 2 or 3)
We are looking for an energetic, community-minded Level 2 or Level 3 coach to join our team. You will be responsible for leading high-energy sessions that prioritize both technical development and social connection.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading our highly popular adult coaching sessions (Beginner to Social Match-play).
Delivering engaging junior blocks (Mini Red through to Yellow ball).
Supporting specialized Girls and Women’s initiatives.
Assisting with community taster days and local festivals.
Ensuring a welcoming environment for all participants on our all-weather courts.
Maryhill Community Tennis is a vibrant, community-focused SCIO dedicated to making tennis accessible to everyone in North Glasgow. We operate from our established base at Maryhill Park, featuring three floodlit all-weather courts and four mini-courts. Our club is a local hub for tennis, driven by a commitment to affordability and inclusivity, offering a range of low-cost and free sessions.
Person Specification
We are looking for a "people person" who understands that in a community setting, engagement and fun are just as important as technical progression.
Essential: Minimum LTA Level 2 (Level 3 preferred or working towards).
Essential: Current LTA Accreditation (DBS/PVG, First Aid, and Safeguarding).
Attributes: Outgoing personality with the ability to motivate large groups and individuals alike.
Values: A genuine belief in the power of sport for social good and a commitment to making tennis accessible to all.
Availability: Sessions currently running on Sundays, mondays , tuesdays and thursdays
