Passionate about growing grassroots participation in the games of tennis and
padel? We are looking for a candidate interested in a career in sports
development, for a full time role driving participation on a programme across park and club sites on the Wirral. The project will involve opening tennis and padel up to all areas of the community and ensuring the local community is informed of all the tennis/padel opportunities available to them. A role with the opportunity to really impact upon the racket playing community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
On court delivery of tennis and padel sessions

Working with local authority contacts to ensure a joined up approach
to promotion of the park tennis courts and programme

Work with local coaching workforce to provide year round coaching
for Juniors and Adults in each area

Building relationships with local schools, colleges, University to create a
pathway for players from Education to the court

Recruitment and coordination of local volunteer ‘Activators’ to run Free
Park Tennis

Driving participation in other LTA initiatives such as, Big Tennis
Weekends, and Local Tennis Leagues across the area

Regular communication with the tennis and padel community on the
different opportunities to play in the area

Conducting regular checks of all sites to ensure courts are in good
condition for play

We Do Tennis C.I.C is a not-for-profit coaching operator that aims to grow racket sports in the UK. We support coaches, clubs, and local authorities in helping players on their playing journey, from playgrounds to performance. We have significant support in place, including full time employed staff focusing on all areas of tennis including Parks. In addition, we have a full-time administration team to help support all areas of our business.

The ideal candidate will:
Be passionate about growing grassroots tennis and padel participation
Hold a coaching qualification in padel
Hold a driving license and be able to drive within the area
Be willing to learn and develop through their time with us
