Tennis Coach
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Level 2 or Level 3 Tennis Coach to join our growing programme at Esher and Guildford. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated coach who is passionate about delivering high-quality sessions and developing players of all ages and abilities. Our coaching programme operates in line with the standards of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and includes junior and adult group sessions, individual lessons, holiday camps, schools and competitive player development pathways.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging, structured coaching sessions that are inclusive, progressive, and player-focused.
Applicants must hold an LTA Level 2 or Level 3 Coaching Qualification and maintain valid LTA Accreditation, including up-to-date First Aid and Safeguarding certification. Strong communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and a genuine passion for long-term player development are essential. For Level 3 applicants, experience leading coaching programmes, managing competitions, or working with performance players would be advantageous.

Guildford Venue:
- 3 indoor tennis courts
- 5 outdoor tennis courts
- Gym space
- Track
Esher Venue:
- 9 outdoor tennis courts (6 floodlit)
- 2 padel courts
- Bar and catering facilities
- Strong and growing membership base at both venues
We are looking for a coach who has:
- Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Tennis Coaching Qualification (or international equivalent).
- Current accreditation with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) or willingness to obtain prior to starting.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding and First Aid certification.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to complete).
- Experience delivering structured group coaching sessions for junior and/or adult players.
- Understanding of player development principles and progressive lesson planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, adults, and parents.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and build positive relationships with players.
- Good organisation and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a coaching team.
- Professional, punctual, and reliable.
- Adaptable and enthusiastic
Additional requirements:
- Able to work evenings and weekends
- Willingness to assist with holiday camps, competitions, and club events.
