Part-time accredited tennis coach
TW Tennis is looking for a new coach to join our team and help develop our program across our fantastic park and private school location in SW London.
We are looking specifically for candidates who are available for 2-3 days per week including evenings and one day of coaching on Sundays to help deliver a range of coaching classes including junior and adult groups and private lessons. The right coach should have experience of working as a self employed coach, be suitably qualified and LTA accredited with a current DBS in place, and be able to work effectively across a wide range of group based coaching situations in schools and local venues.
TW Tennis is one of the leading suppliers of tennis activities in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. Our fantastic venues cover areas across Hampton Hill, Teddington, Twickenham and into other parts of SW London. These include Carlisle Park and Kneller Gardens which are community park locations, as well as coaching situations at schools such as Hampton School and Lady Eleanor Holles. Our venues offer free car parking for coaches and players, are easy to reach via local transport, and are located in some of London's best parks and schools. The successful candidate will show the following skills:
- Have between 3-5 years of teaching experience already at a recognised tennis facility or program and a current, clean DBS and accreditation in place
- Have a good playing standard that allows them to teach adult players from beginners to higher level club players and higher standard juniors
- Be available to work 2-3 days in the week including evenings and on Sundays
- Be proficient at working with larger groups and in school locations
- Show a willing attitude to develop their income within the role by networking and creating new clients
- Ideally be a Richmond resident or live within a comfortable commute to our venues
