Racquets Coordinator
The Role
Coordinate a high-quality racquets programme, optimising court usage across private coaching, inclusive classes and member bookings
Deliver engaging racquets events, leagues, workshops and member experiences
Foster a positive, inclusive and welcoming racquets community
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate racquets into wider club wellness initiatives
Monitor programme quality through class observations, app ratings and member feedback, implementing improvements where needed
Take responsibility for Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults policy adherence, ensuring concerns are reported correctly
Coach members across relevant racquets disciplines
Develop working relationships with the Lawn Tennis Association and other professional associations
Liaise with the Junior Activities Supervisor, Swim Co-ordinator and other club departments to support junior racquets provision
Ensure all new members receive a racquets assessment and appropriate club rating as part of induction
Guarantee all lessons and classes are covered by qualified coaches and compliant with statutory guidelines
Supervise and inspire the racquets team to achieve exceptional standards in service, safety and brand delivery
Support the Racquets Manager in driving a commercially successful product, delivering strong KPIs
Recruit and retain high-performing racquets coaches
Facilitate team engagement through training and development sessions
Conduct regular quality assessments for coaches, with additional support where required

Experience
Recognised UK racquets accreditation (e.g. tennis/padel qualification as appropriate)
Proven experience developing and implementing successful racquets programmes
Experience coordinating self-employed coaches and ensuring industry compliance and health & safety standards
A track record of achieving commercial targets and delivering world-class experiences
Excellent people skills and a passion for coaching and developing others
Strong organisational, administrative and IT skills
Experience handling complaints professionally and efficiently
