LTA Accredited Coach
This is an exciting tennis coaching opportunity based at the Indoor Tennis Centre in Basingstoke, which features 4 indoor courts and 4 outdoor courts, enabling high-quality, year-round delivery.
The role will start with 15 core group coaching hours, with an average of 25+ hours per week available from the outset through a combination of group sessions, 1-to-1 coaching, school links, and holiday camps. For a proactive and motivated individual, there is clear scope to grow the role to 40 hours per week over time.
On-court delivery includes LTA Youth programmes through to adult group sessions delivered primarily at the Indoor Tennis Centre, alongside outreach coaching at Stratton Park (which has 6 floodlit courts) and local schools. The group programme is a mix of established sessions and new sessions, offering immediate stability while providing strong opportunities to expand participation.
For the right coach, this role offers clear progression, with the potential to develop into a full-time position as the programme continues to grow across Basingstoke.

In Basingstoke, the programme is based at Basingstoke Indoor Tennis Centre, a year-round facility with 4 indoor and 4 outdoor tennis courts, alongside a pavilion with a brand new café. This is supported by outreach delivery at Stratton Park, which offers 6 recently refurbished floodlit courts, and a growing network of local school partnerships.
Together, this creates a high-volume, high-quality coaching programme delivering group coaching, 1-to-1 lessons, schools tennis, and holiday camps, with immediate hours available and clear scope to grow.

The successful applicant will ideally be an LTA Level 2 coach or higher. Outstanding Level 1 coaches will be considered.
On-Court:
A minimum 2 years experience as an Accredited LTA Coach, tailoring sessions to cater to a range of skill levels, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
Commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of all participants by adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting a positive and inclusive sporting environment.
Off-Court Responsibilities:
Strong planning skills to develop and execute long-term visions for programme growth.
Ability to engage with NTA management, Schools and Parents
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to problem solve.
