The National Tennis Association (NTA) is one of the UK’s leading community tennis operators, working nationally in partnership with the LTA and local authorities to grow participation and create clear coaching career pathways.
Across Bedford (7 sites), Luton (3 sites) and Stevenage (1 site), NTA delivers and fully manages a network of park tennis facilities, operating them on behalf of local authorities. This includes end-to-end responsibility for programming, coaching delivery, bookings, customer experience, marketing and day-to-day operations.
Several of the park sites are floodlit, enabling year-round evening and winter programming, which provides consistency for players and stability for coaches. These venues form the backbone of local community tennis, offering accessible and affordable opportunities across multiple neighbourhoods.
The Bedford, Luton and Stevenage sites operate as a connected regional network, allowing for collaborative programming, flexible diary planning and clear player pathways across venues. Delivery is supported by strong local authority relationships and developing school partnerships, ensuring long-term sustainability and growth.
NTA employs and supports 100+ coaches nationwide, offering structured progression, high-quality CPD and opportunities to work across parks, schools and holiday programmes. Coaches are backed by experienced regional leadership teams and benefit from being part of a forward-thinking organisation focused on long-term impact rather than short-term delivery.
Together, these parks programmes represent a high-volume, operationally robust tennis network with immediate opportunities and significant scope to grow participation and impact across Bedford, Luton and Stevenage.
The successful applicant will ideally be an LTA Level 2 coach or higher. Outstanding Level 1 coaches will be considered.
