LTA Accredited Coach
This is an exciting part-time tennis coaching role starting with 10 hours of core group delivery, plus the opportunity to build up hours of individual coaching. This role could develop into a full time position for those that wanted, as we have multiple sites (including an indoor centre) within travelling distance.
On-court delivery consists of LTA Youth through to Adult group sessions on a weekly basis. The group hours are a mixture of established group hours and new sessions.
The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver an individual coaching and the candidate can run a self-employed coaching business alongside delivering a group coaching programme.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Court Delivery: Conduct tennis coaching sessions, including LTA Youth Start, Tennis Express, Adult Sessions, and Cardio Tennis. Develop school/club links to enhance coaching programme.
Personal Coaching Business: Opportunity to supplement income through individual coaching on a self-employed basis.
Hours & Compensation:
Part-time role, 10 hours per week, plus up to 15 hours of individual coaching.
Salary, Contact employer. This is dependent on qualifications and experience.
Potential for additional income from personal coaching, School outreach and Camps, estimated 10k per annum.

Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate must be a level 1 or above, ideally a Level 2 or above.
They must be comfortable working with children aged 4-17 and be trained as an LTA Youth coach. The candidate must also have:
Passion and enthusiasm for the game
Min 1 year experience in delivering a wide range of coaching sessions.
A strong customer service ethos and desire to improve coaching services to all.
A professional manner and reliable
The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
The passion for continued learning and self-development
Experience in using software packages (including ClubSpark)

Together, this creates a high-participation, community-focused coaching programme, delivering weekly group sessions, 1-to-1 coaching, schools tennis, and camps, with immediate coaching hours available and clear scope to grow for the right individual.

The successful applicant will ideally be an LTA Level 2 coach or higher. Outstanding Level 1 coaches will be considered.
On-Court:
A minimum 2 years experience as an Accredited LTA Coach, tailoring sessions to cater to a range of skill levels, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
Commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of all participants by adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting a positive and inclusive sporting environment.
Off-Court Responsibilities:
Strong planning skills to develop and execute long-term visions for programme growth.
Ability to engage with NTA management, Schools and Parents
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to problem solve.
