We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Level 3 (or above) LTA Accredited Coach to join our thriving coaching programme at Elliswick Lawn Tennis Club in Harpenden, with additional hours at our partnered school site. The role offers a strong foundation of daytime hours, a mixture of group coaching and individual lessons, plus excellent opportunities to build further income through optional sessions such as Cardio Tennis, Tots Tennis and Adult Drills where the coach keeps the all of the income.

Coaches benefit from no court fees at Elliswick, competitive hourly rates of £25ph for groups and £45ph for private lessons for a level 3, and a unique profit-share model at the school site (20% share on the last four places of any full group). Mini tennis balls are provided for individual junior lessons, while coaches provide balls for adult lessons. The successful candidate will join a supportive coaching team in a well-organised, high-demand programme with strong player retention and year-round opportunities.

Elliswick LTC is an award-winning, family-focused tennis club located in the affluent town of Harpenden, Hertfordshire. The club has recently invested in a modern clubhouse, newly refurbished courts, and high-quality playing facilities set within beautiful grounds. With an active membership with a waiting list to join to match and a strong community reputation, there is consistent demand for lessons across all age groups and standards.

The coaching programme is one of the very established, supporting over 400 juniors each term alongside an often sold out adult groups sessions. Our second coaching venue—a nearby school site—provides after-school capacity, offering excellent earning potential and clear progression for a motivated coach.

Essential:

LTA Level 3 (or above) Accredited / Accredited+

Confident delivering to juniors and adults across a range of standards

Professional, reliable and committed to high-quality coaching

Strong communication and organisational skills

Positive, friendly manner and ability to work well within a team

Current DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding certifications

Desirable:

Experience delivering Cardio Tennis, Tots Tennis or Adult Drills

An interest in growing new sessions and building a personal client base

A proactive attitude towards player development and programme growth
