Lead Coach - Havant Parks
This is an exciting part-time leadership role delivering and growing tennis across our parks venues in Havant. Starting with a core block of group delivery, the role offers the opportunity to build additional hours of individual coaching and to grow the programme over time. We also have the option of delivering at a floodlit venue to ensure year round sustainability.
On-court delivery consists of LTA Youth through to Adult group sessions on a weekly basis — a mixture of established sessions and new sessions you will help develop. As National Tennis operates multiple sites within travelling distance, there is scope to grow your hours across the wider portfolio.
The successful candidate will lead delivery in Havant and can run a self-employed coaching business alongside the group programme.
Key Responsibilities:
• On-court delivery: lead tennis coaching across LTA Youth Start, Tennis Express,
Adult sessions and Cardio Tennis.
• Programme leadership: grow participation in Havant and develop school and club links.
• Build your own private lesson base: develop and run individual coaching on a self employed basis alongside the group programme.
Hours & Compensation:
• Part-time role, starting with a core block of group delivery plus the opportunity to add
hours as the programme grows.
• Group delivery typically £16–£25 per hour, dependent on qualifications and
experience.
• Build your own private lesson base, typically £35+ per hour, with 100% of self employed individual coaching income retained.
• Additional income available from school outreach and camps.
• Both employed and self-employed arrangements are available.
Benefits
• Retain 100% of income from self-employed individual coaching.
• 5 weeks paid holiday (for employed coaches).
• A Personal Development Plan with NTA management, plus funded CPD courses.
• Workplace perks, including cinema and supermarket discounts.
• All necessary equipment provided.
• Racket Ambassadorship with Tecnifibre.
• Adidas sponsorship, including paid clothing and 50% off all Adidas products.
