The Edgbaston Priory Club is looking to recruit a Head of Participation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth in tennis participation at the club, at our sister club Lordswood Tennis Club and generally across our local community.

Our Head of Participation has a fantastic opportunity to support growth at one of the largest tennis clubs in the Country and to develop & grow the coaching programme at a 5 court club in the heart of Birmingham, Britain's second largest city! The successful candidate will have the support of a large coaching team & professional infrastructure at the club and will also be able to utilise the Lexus Birmingham Open to instigate tennis activity.

The Edgbaston Priory Club is one of the largest & most presitgious clubs in the Country. We boast excellent facilities with 8 championship grass courts, 8 indoor courts, 7 artificial grass courts, 2 artificial clay courts, 5 macadem courts & 3 brand new Padel courts. Not to mention, an incredible clubhouse with indoor & outdoor swimming pool, large gym & substantial bar/ bistro area.

Alongside the wonderful facilities at The Edgbaston Priory Club we also operate a 5 court club in the heart of Birmingham, Lordswood Tennis Club. Lordswood has 3 floodlit courts and a small clubhouse and has significant opportunities for growth & development.

We are the proud host of the Lexus Birmingham Open, a key WTA & ATP tournament in the LTA's grass court calendar and we have significant opporutnites to introduce players to the sport throughout the tournament.

Our Head of Participation will possess a love for the game of tennis & an infectious personality which will drive participation across all areas of tennis. They will have a commitment to delivering excellence and present themselves professionally.

Person Specification

•Minimum Level 3 accredited
•Experience with programmes and retention
•Passionate about growing the game
•Delivery of schools and conversions
•Understanding of LTA initiatives
•Awareness of standards
