Head Coach, Waiheke Island, Auckland


Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver group and individual coaching sessions for juniors and adults at both the tennis club, local schools and private courts where applicable.
* Work with players of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
* Assist in the development and implementation of new coaching programs.
* Foster a fun and encouraging environment where players can improve and enjoy the game.
* Engage with the local community to grow interest in tennis and increase participation.
* Work closely with the club Committee and members.

Requirements:
ITF Level 1 (or equivalent) tennis coaching qualification.
A minimum of 5 years coaching experience, with a range of ages and abilities.
Passion for the game of tennis and teaching others.
Ability to work independently – in the outset you would be working alone
Valid police check
Valid drivers’ license
Current First Aid qualification
Fluent in written and spoken English
The ability to string rackets is preferable
Preparedness to live and work on Waiheke Island – an exciting, beautiful, and vibrant place to call home!
This role requires a commitment for a minimum of 3 years. Visa sponsorship is possible for some candidates.
