Full-time Tennis Coach
You will join our fantastic team of coaches in delivering our nationally acclaimed tennis coaching program to our customers. You will be involved in all aspects of our coaching program including groups, privates, working with Tennis Australia Hot Shot players, older juniors and adults (including Cardio Tennis). Hours will be 25-35 per week – mornings, afternoons and evenings including some weekend and before-school work. For the Assistant Head Coach position there will be management & administrative duties too.
Tennis Factory is one of the most respected tennis coaching businesses in Australia, with multiple awards for coaching excellence from Tennis Australia, Tennis West and the Department of Sport & Recreation. We are recognised for our junior development pathways, player development and competitive playing programs. Tennis Factory is based at 3 venues in Perth, Western Australia – Onslow Park TC, East Fremantle LTC and Peppermint Grove TC. All 3 venues are located within 20 minutes of each other. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a great team of coaches, to learn and work within one of Australia’s leading tennis programs and live in Australia’s sunniest capital where the outdoor life is second to none.
For the successful applicant/s, there is an opportunity for visa sponsorship to stay longer-term, from 2-year work visas to visas that lead to permanent residence.
We are looking for 2 x professional coaches who are passionate about the game and who are looking to experience tennis coaching in Australia. We have a great team culture amongst our staff so the successful applicant/s must work well with others. You will be responsible for your own groups and individual lessons so we would expect that you have good organisation and lesson planning skills. A passion for developing players and a great attitude to life are attributes we and our customers are looking for. If you are of high playing level (county, state, US college level) this would be desirable, however not essential as a large part of our program are junior players (ages 3-12 years).
