Dynamic Self Employed Tennis Coach (L2 or 3) - David Lloyd Bicester


Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic coach to join a thriving Racquets Program and help us to expand our junior and adult coaching provision, in one of David Lloyd’s newest facilities. The role could also provide the right candidate with opportunities to coach Padel & Pickleball.
The coach will be expected to work within both our adult and junior tennis programme, delivering lessons to a variety of ages and abilities. As a result, the coach must be well organised, punctual, engaging and above all, be able to deliver a consistent high quality on court product. The position is a self employed role, with the ability to build a large 1-2-1 coaching business in addition.
The coach will be encouraged to involve themselves in the regular racquets department events and competitions. Building a positive relationship with the clubs racquets members.

Venue Overview
David Lloyd provides premium racquets facilities across the UK and Europe. Bicester is a state-of-the-art facility situated around a large club room at the heart of the club. Facilities include:
•3 indoor tennis courts,
•3 indoor padel courts,
•Multipurpose Badminton / Pickleball Hall
•Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, with kids training pools
•Large indoor and outdoor spa,
•gym with several studios and
•Creche and kid’s activities rooms.
Person Specification
•Ideally looking for a level 3 qualified coach. A strong Level 2, wishing to undertake the L3, may be considered.
•Up to date LTA Coach accreditation
•Friendly and engaging personality, with a clear love for the game.
•Motivated and passionate about coaching, with bags of enthusiasm and a strong desire to grow and improve as a coach.
•Willingness to coach all ages and levels, with the ability and drive to help members develop to their full potential.
•Must be reliable and available to work evenings and weekends
•Good communication and organisational skills are essential.
•The successful candidate will work within a team of coaches, reporting to the Racquets Manager
