Assistant Tennis Coach - Luton/Stevenage
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated tennis coach to join our growing programme. The role begins with 10+ core hours per week of group coaching delivery, with strong potential to build additional individual coaching hours. This role is perfect for an existing coach to bolster their hours or for someone looking to get into coaching. This role can be based in Bedford, Luton, Stevenage or a combination.
For the right candidate, this role could develop into a full-time position, with coaching opportunities across multiple local sites, within easy travelling distance.
You will deliver a mixture of LTA Youth and Adult group coaching sessions across a programme that includes both established groups and newly launched sessions.
Alongside group delivery, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to run their own self-employed individual coaching business, enabling them to significantly increase earnings.
Key Responsibilities:
-On-Court Delivery
-Deliver high-quality coaching across LTA Youth, Adult Coaching, Cardio Tennis and Tennis Express.
-Support the growth of the programme through excellent player engagement and retention.
-Help build strong school and club links to drive participation.
-Opportunity to build and manage your own portfolio of private coaching sessions on a self-employed basis.
Hours & Compensation:
-Part-time role: 10 hours per week group delivery.
-Opportunity to build up to 15 hours of private coaching.
-Salary / Rate: Dependent on qualifications and experience (to be discussed with employer).

Minimum LTA Level 1 qualification (Level 2 or above preferred).
Experience delivering sessions to children aged 4–17 and familiarity with LTA Youth coaching.
Minimum 1 year coaching experience across a range of sessions.
Passionate, enthusiastic and committed to delivering an outstanding tennis experience.
Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
Confident working independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude towards ongoing learning and development.
A growth mindset.
Experience using software systems such as ClubSpark is desirable.
